What the course is about
This popular course is entirely focussed on developing techniques to paint the world-famous Jurassic coast and seascapes using a variety of medium in a relaxed and friendly environment.
Topics may include:
- How to get started
- Basic drawing and painting techniques
- How to use perspective effectively
- Creating depth of colour that reflect nature
- How to capture rock formations and develop texture.
This is a structured course including demonstrations, group and individual coaching. At times you may be given step-by-step instructions. A range of techniques and artists will be sampled in order to support learners’ individual style. Starting points may include both real life subjects and photographs, with a variety of subjects.
Learning takes place in a friendly classroom setting, which is a great place for social interaction and helping you meet new people.
This workshop is subsidised by Government funding so you should aim to attend the whole course.
