Support Worker Skills (Working with Children) on-line learning

What the course is about

A structured, interactive, virtual, auto-assessed course that provides skills, knowledge and understanding in a number of subjects including your responsibilities under Prevent, Safeguarding legislation, how to recognise bullying and understanding eating disorders.

Key Information

This course will include:

• Safeguarding Adults and Children
• Understanding Bullying and Discrimination in Children
• Prevent Duty
• Understanding Eating Disorders

This course supports you to gain background knowledge and understanding required to support children and young people.

Each learner will work at their own speed but will be supported by the Employability and Progression Officer, Nicky Ellison, nellison@salbcp.com if required.

You will receive an e-certificate of achievement on completion of all the assessments.
