What the course is about
A structured, interactive, virtual, auto-assessed course that provides skills, knowledge and understanding in a number of subjects including the personal and social effects of substance and alcohol misuse, safeguarding legislation and how to recognise domestic abuse.
Key Information
This course will include:
- Substance Misuse Awareness
- Alcohol Awareness
- Understanding Domestic Abuse
- Safeguarding Adults and Children
This course supports you to gain the background knowledge and understanding required for supporting people who have misused substances or alcohol.
Each learner will work at their own speed but will be supported by the Employability and Progression Officer, Nicky Ellison, nellison@salbcp.com if required.
You will receive an e-certificate of achievement on completion of all the assessments.
