What the course is about
This course follows on from our ICT for Beginners A course. The course has 6 weekly session of 3 hours each.
The learner will:
1. Interact with and use an ICT system.
- Use correct procedures for start and shutdown of an ICT system
- Open and close applications
- Use input devices
- Use output devices
- Use software applications
- Recognise and use interface features.
2. Follow recommended safe operating practices
- List safety points to be remembered when using a computer
- Follow safe practices
3. Use ICT to search for, select and use information
- Use appropriate search techniques
- Select information
- Use information for an agreed purpose.
4. Enter, develop and present information for an agreed purpose using an ICT system.
