What the course is about

There are two separate Level 2 qualifications with AAT.

The Level 2 Bookkeeping course  comprises two mandatory units:

  • Introduction to Bookkeeping
  • Principles of Bookkeeping Controls

The Level 2 Accounting course requires learners to achieve two additional units:

  • Principles of Costing
  • The Business Environment

This course does the two additional units above and so converts a Level 2 Bookkeeping qualifcation into a Level 2 Accounting qualifcation.

Everyone who chooses this course needs to have already completed the two bookkeeping units above i.e. to have completed the one of the two courses "Accounting - AAT Certificate Part 1" or "Bookkeeping - AAT Level 2 Certificate".
