Our Active Learning programme is a suite of courses for adults with SEND and/or learning difficulties. Our courses promote independence, build confidence, and develop new skills.
Classes are supportive and fun, led by highly experienced teaching staff.
This course aims to support you to build your everyday skills, so that you can be more independent and confident in everyday life.
You will gain knowledge of how to:
• Handle money in everyday life
• Build skills to become more independent
• Ways to communicate to include writing
• Recognising time and finding out about it’s uses in everyday life
• Work with others
• Understanding healthy relationships
Some of the skills you gain on this course could help increase your opportunities for employment or working within the community.
Learning takes place in a friendly classroom setting, which is a great place for social interaction and helping you meet new people.
This course is subsidised by Government funding so you should aim to attend the whole course.
